GamutEDI Appliance

For organizations that wish to maintain their ERP system inside their own firewall, GamutEDI can be supplied on a high-performance network appliance. Requiring no up-front capital outlay, the appliance and software is maintained and supported by our local engineering team for an affordable monthly fee based on concurrent users.
GamutEDI provides a complete business management solution including Sales Orders, Purchase Orders, Inventory Control, Warehouse Automation, Job Costing, and a fully integrated Financials module including Payroll.

Our EDI module integrates with the Order Entry, Debtors, Inventory and Sales Analysis modules and supports a comprehensive set of EDI functionality including:

  • Receiving orders from customers
  • Sending invoices to customers
  • Receiving payment remittance advices from customers
  • Collecting sales statistics from your customers' POS terminals

The EDI data formats are defined in a data dictionary, therefore future standards are easily catered for.

EDI can interface directly to GXS, IPT and other VANs without the need for additional software. CubeSystem is a true multi-user platform - barcode scanners can connect directly to the Server over a wireless network, without the need to connect via a local PC. You can also share barcode printers between multiple packing stations. After receiving an order, CubeSystem converts your customer's SKU, Barcode or Part Number into your own internal inventory code, and checks for any special contract pricing. The customer's store number is also translated into your own ship-to code and bulk or store-level picking slips can be printed with bar coded order and shipping numbers printed on them. The system can even suggest the best bin location to pick stock from. Stock can be scanned into cartons where stock codes and quantities are checked, an SSCC number allocated, and the SCM label printed for each carton, with incomplete orders being reported immediately. The advanced shipping notice (ASN) is generated and sent to the customer via EDI to advise them of goods in transit. The CubeSystem Inventory module will allow you to have your own EAN numbers and print stock labels for incoming goods which do not already have a barcode printed on them. Multiple bin locations are supported, and they can be barcoded so that stock movements in the warehouse and stocktakes can be streamlined by using handheld portable barcode scanners. CubeSystem EDI can calculate the weight or volume, then decide which transport company is to be used, and print carton address labels and consignment note for the shipment. Integration with carrier consignment software can also be provided.
